Chalet Iskar – Ski School Content
Lessons: Daily through to whole weeks
Equipment Hire: Available with or without tuition
Following the phenomenal success of our new venture, in the 2007/08 season, we are expanding our staff, facilities, courses and equipment.
  Having realised that there was a massive market for more personal tuition, and for good quality hire equipment, we started the classes for this last season. We soon realised that there was a large demand for the services we were offering, and so for the next season we will be expanding, not only our hand-picked trainers, but also offering a more varied selection of tuition as well.
We specialise in offering tuition in groups with a maximum of four people, in all disciplines from beginners to advanced, off-piste to snowboarding. New for this coming year we will be offering specific ladies groups, especially for the ‘nervous’ skier, children’s classes mixed in with a ‘nanny’ service and also ‘race training’ for the budding racers of the future.
 All the equipment we use is new for the season, mainly ‘Rossignol’ with ‘Vist’ and ‘Blizzard’ skis as well. We use ‘Rossignol’ boots as well. We can supply twin tips, off-piste skis, race skis and blades.
We do not profess to be the cheapest, but you get what you pay for, with more personal tuition, progression is a lot faster in our smaller groups, beginners will be doing red runs by the end of the week.
Paramount to our classes is the fact that you enjoy yourselves. We select a pace to suit everyone, and we don’t stick to a certain time limit, the lesson being limited more by the ‘students’ stamina!!

Our lessons are open to all, not just guests staying in the chalet.
Classes:
 Skiing.
All levels catered for, if you would like to book a specific topic, i.e. off-piste, please let us know when booking.
Boarding.
Again all levels are catered for.
Nervous skier’s class.
Ideally suiting those that are struggling to progress, or think that skiing is not for them. We use a slow progression to build up confidence, and progress through the grades of slope, only as we feel the students are comfortable, not as a necessity.
Children’s Classes.
 From beginners, from 3 years upwards, mixing in with some ‘bum boarding’ and sledging as well. To tie-in with mum and dad we will look after the children for the whole day, but bearing in mind children can tire easily. Run by qualified staff.
Race Training.
More aimed at children, this is a whole week course. Mornings will be working in groups using slalom poles, both slalom and giant slalom, with the afternoons consisting of a mixture of technique practice and ‘mileage’. This course is open to all standards and will bring the ‘young speed demon’ on in leaps and bounds. It’s also a very good way to enable the children to learn to control their speed.
All tuition is available as part of a package, i.e. with lift pass and equipment hire, or as stand alone tuition, though after this season’s experience, we reserve the right to suggest ‘changing’ some of the hire equipment our guests have turned up with!!
